The winner of the Poetic Republic Poetry Prize 2012 is Shona Albouy with her poem Spider.

The winner of the first Portfolio Prize was Sharon Black for her two poems Water into Wine and Babel.

Both Shona and Sharon were previously shortlisted in the Poetic Republic Poetry Prize 2010 and they are both currently living in France.

In addition, two other poets shortlisted this year have been shortlisted in previous years.
